Abstract

• Of the eight CPI cities in East Java, seven cities experienced inflation and one city experienced deflation. The highest inflation occurred in Surabaya at 0.29 percent and the lowest inflation occurred in Kab. Sumenep was 0.02 percent, while the only deflation was recorded in Malang at 0.01.

• The February 2021 calendar year inflation rate is 0.53 percent and the year-on-year inflation rate (February 2021 against February 2020) is 1.16 percent.
